As Bad As It Seems

The world is a terrible place.
Full of hate.
You look from face to face.
Anger, Sadness, Depression, broken, hurt, malice, Hate.
Written in their eyes.

But bring that glowing smile back.
The world is still turning.
There is something to smile about, that’s a fact.
Look up, The sun is still shining.
Life is still good.

You start to cry.
Dry your eyes.
Just try.
To see the world from my eyes.
Can you see it yet?

Be happy, don’t worry.
It’s a song.
You don’t have to say you’re sorry.
These emotions are allowed, just not for too long.
So smile, and be happy.

The world isn’t a terrible place.
there is always something good.
Just be like me and smile like a nut case.
I wish you understood.
How good the world really can be.

Look up, the sun is still shining.
Look down the grass is green.
Find the silver lining.
