Story of a Man.

This is the story of a man;
Whose life had really just began.
And underneath his bad decisions,
Lay a boy with wonderful visions.
He saw what others couldn’t,
And would be there when most wouldn’t.
When someone needed assistance,
He would go the distance.
Past his previous blunders,
Was a man of wonder,
Living for today,
Knowing that someday, we’d realize; we’ll be okay.
I know that inside of that boy,
There was joy.
There was a hero; hidden.
And I know that with sadness he was ridden.
I pray that he has found the bliss that was inside of him all along.
And that the ones he loved will stay strong.
Maybe someday; we’ll figure all this out.
And put a stop to all of our doubt.
For now, we have to believe,
That long after we grieve,
That man will still watch over you and me.
He’ll be an angel, you see.
With beautiful wings to fly,
High, over us, in the sky.
Someday, we’ll see that memorialized boy again.
And forgotten will be his sins.
Joyful; we will all be.
Once again, a happy family.
