caring hurts but we do it anyway

we are hurt by those we care about
because if we didn't care about them we wouldn't be hurt by what they say
we wouldn't put are self out there to be hurt
or to help them
we wouldn't let them say the things they say
we wouldn't forget what they say
we wouldn't stop are life to make sure they're okay
we wouldn't feel like crying ever time they cry
we wouldn't do anything to help them stop there pain
we wouldn't feel sick every time they want to hurt them selves
or they want to stop there life
we wouldn't be there for good times if we didnt care
we wouldn't smile when they smile
or laugh at there jokes
we go through the pain for those we care about
for those moments when there happy
for when they smile for when they are happy
because we care
we got those people who care back
we get those who would do it all for us
because sometimes when we put are life on hold
to help them
some would do the same for us
because people cant help but care
