My Head or My Heart

Have you ever felt this confused?
The one your heart wants, your head says you can't have.
The one your head wants, your heart doesn't truly desire.
The Heart has hurt me, while the Head protects.
The Head annoys while the Heart pleases.
They both are two separate parts of me.
Each satisfies two halves of one being.
To choose Head, I will have to ignore my heart.
I will have to work with Head to win my heart back.
To choose Heart is to choose a risky path.
The Heart is entangled by another, yet admits to longing feelings for me.
If I choose Heart, will it in turn, choose me?
Do I risk to ignore my head and possibly inflict more scars on my heart for it's desire?
The Heart shows signs of healing, but will we ever mend?
The Head is the logical choice, but the Heart is the emotional one.
I'm no complete without one or the other.
