When Time Fades

In our youth,
there was a world to conquer,
but I gave up all dreams,
when love i discovered.

Hugged and kissed,
Loved all down,
Girlfriend of yours,
Your heart, my crown.

You made me yours,
my heart sung with glee,
you never told lies,
and spoke truthfully.

I remeber that time,
when you told me of your love,
I wanted to give you more,
than just an ordinary hug.

Time fades on,
days get longer,
we get older,
unable to remeber.

That is the past,
gone not forgotten,
and when time fades,
Remember where you heart is.
