She Lives for October

She lives for October.
She finds pleasure in Victorian styles,
Acoustics with haunting girls' voices.
She thrives for Autumn,
She wears her dark hair long,
Serene and silent.

She is hypnotized by leaves,
She stares straight ahead and
She sees a colorless world.
She sings with raindrops
And smiles at pumpkins,
She hums along with the wind
And embraces the sting.

She lives for October,
To pace the granite carpet
Dotted with leaves and
Candles burning dimly.
She lives for tenth allotment,
Dies for the remaining months.

She lives for October,
Rises for October,
Visits the world in October,
Goes back to dead in November.
