Watch and learn.

Watching life through a television screen
An automated lifestyle, just like a machine.
Detached from your eyes and pleasurable cries
The feelings are real, but they never rise.

And the flowers are red, but I'm colorblind
They are but illusions, they're undefined
A book without words, braille won't do.
My hands can't touch, they go right through.

I'm beginning to lose my sense of fear
The things I hear are never near
Death is but an open chord
When strummed too hard, it gives no reward.

But I will talk of life after death
A second chance, a second breath.
Watching life through a television screen
Isn't as thrilling as it may seem.
