Sunrise

The sun rising in the east

Cascading light upon me

Morning Glories waving hello

Green fields and happy groves

Squirrels dancing in the shade

Ants gathering, a big parade

Blades of grass between my toes

Drops of dew, the grass’ woes

Chirping birds, happy songs

Breezy winds play along

Angels of light shine over the rocking trees

No sound except for the buzzing bees

Sunrise is almost done

Only 24 hours till the next one.
