Like a nail to the heart
A blow to the ribs
Or a slap to the face

That's what it feels like

To be all alone

Surrounded by family and friends
Wearing the latest trend

But still she's all alone

Inside her lonely house
Everyone is "concerned"

But yet she's all alone

It hurts to be alone
To not have a friend
To be all alone

But its not curse
Although it may hurt

Its a Blessing disguised as a curse
For if your all alone
There is no one to hurt you
No one to betray you
No one to turn their back on you

Being all alone makes you strong, independent
Makes you re-evaluate what you are really all about
What you are capable of

So yes it hurts
But in the end
Its a blessing not a curse
