Just A Poster

I sit and I watch you from my place on the wall
Unmoving
I’m silent, I watch you as you wake up
And then as you get ready
You cast an anxious at me before shutting the lights off and closing the door.
I let out a small sigh and then tilt my head, back to the perfect position
I grow still for a moment before moving again.
You run back in and I practically jump back into my original position
My hat has fallen off and I’m desperately reaching out to grab it before you notice
You shoot another glance at me as you dig for something, a look settles upon your face for a moment before you shake it off,
I can practically hear you thinking, I grab my hat and place it firmly on my head before freezing again.
I am nothing to you.
Nothing but a poster on your wall.

Another thing I had to do for LA class.
His challange was for us to write a poem about a inanimate object.
