Shall I Write a Poem Again?
After all the trials I’ve come through
The determination paved away
Fate had outspoken my existence
Tired and neglected of his child’s play
Shall I write a poem again?
My fingers refused to type
Neither ideas nor letters
Cannot form paragraphs nor words
Tears for deceased creative herds
Shall I write a poem again?
Maybe this time
The world may permit
Despite yesterday’s past might interfere
I vow to compose a poem I will commit
For the last time
I will ask once more
Shall I write a poem again?
The determination paved away
Fate had outspoken my existence
Tired and neglected of his child’s play
Shall I write a poem again?
My fingers refused to type
Neither ideas nor letters
Cannot form paragraphs nor words
Tears for deceased creative herds
Shall I write a poem again?
Maybe this time
The world may permit
Despite yesterday’s past might interfere
I vow to compose a poem I will commit
For the last time
I will ask once more
Shall I write a poem again?
