Are my only friends the stars that shine above?

Oh lovely stars whom clad the night time skies
And cast your beams across the ocean waves,
Please bring relief to my saturnine eyes
So blinded from this sad and lonely haze.
Like dark Pluto,who rules in the abyss,
Rejected from society and love;
I dwell alone, my heart with emptiness;
My only friends, the stars that shine above.
How bright they shine and yet so far away
I know, somewhere, another sees their beams.
And with the night, if on a hill they lay,
They'll see these stars and share my simple dreams.
Oh lovely stars, when I look up at you,
I'm not alone if someone sees you, too.
