Fragile Heart

Our fragile hearts,
Can only stay strong,
For so long,
Each stab and every wound,
Never disappears,
It leaves a scar and never clears.

The constant twist and turn,
Of a knife opens up every yearn.
The pain of losing those so dear,
It comes back each and every year.

But day by day,
Another deep scar,
Is etched into your fragile heart to lay,
Because those so dear to you,
Don't know what to do,
Except rip you open and tear you apart.
They'll rip up that very fragile heart.
