Purity of the Moon

The beam of light
So pure
So white

It scatters through the night
Searching for what cannot be found
This light, so pure and white?

For the blood of thousands
Shedding under the lazer
Of Bright, burning light

The Moon my dear
A blazing white
Pure and bright

An entity of its own right
So pure, so bright
Blazing, scorching the night

Chasing shadows through the night
Purifying everything in sight
Oh how moon, do you shine so bright?

You see son and daughter
I shine with your inner light
