Someone To Be The Light

The world spins,
And the world turns.
Many peoples’ hearts tossed into bins.
No one ever really learns.

We all Just wanna find that one.
Our soul mate.
The person we are with for the long run.
The one, we won’t leave until we go to the pearly white gate.

We all want to love someone.
We all want to be held tight.
We all want to Be loved by anyone.
We all want someone to be the light.

We all wish.
Some of us pray.
For someone to cherish.
For a love that’s oh so cliché.

We all want to be loved.
We all want to be cared about.
It is something we all have craved.
We want all this from someone who will love us without a doubt.

We all stand by as the world spins.
We watch it turn.
Everyone’s heart, every now and then gets tossed into the bin.
And sometimes we do actually learn.
