why?!

knowing whats comeing,i close my eyes,
i let out low, depressed sighs
he fancys me, i can see,
but together, we canot be,
i love you, as a good friend,
but my heart, i canot lend,
for if i said i want you, it would be a lie,
so before you ask me,i must quickly fly,
to avoid awkwardness, and destress,
i try giving out hints,to try and adress,
how i feel about him, is not romantic
