Betrayal

I asked as we walked down this lonely road
Where are they taking me?
Why wasn't I told?
We approached it, yes we did
A palace almost like the id
Though I was happy to be in a different place
The dungeon before had such tight space
The guards led me to a bare chamber
I was left alone, all alone
No servants, no ladies, no one for me to hold.
I tried to look out the only window in this dreadful room
It was too high
Too high that I could only see a patch of blue sky
I stared out the window for a moment
The sky gradually grew gray
I sat there for most of the day
The gray sky matched my somber expression
I thought and thought when will I be free from this hellish deception?
I feel betrayed, unworthy and hurt
I'm just as worthless as the brown colored dirt
