Childhood misery.

Are you okay, you're looking blue
I'll be just fine, take a few
Spin my chair like you used to do
When you were eight and I was two

You're growing too fast, try to slow down
I wish I could, mom, but I'm leaving town
The permanent frown will go away
If I don't see this everyday.

Twenty five and I see the end
A little boy stuck, can't comprehend
And now we're spinning out of control
Out of the chair and into a hole

Six feet deep and I'm three feet tall
Two of me and I wouldn't fall
But half the size of twenty five
Isn't enough to keep this boy alive.
