One Who Speaks

There are things that I have heard that I shouldn’t have; Hear No Evil.
There are things that I have saw that I shouldn’t have; See No Evil.
I’ve said some things I shouldn’t have and I stand by them; Speak No Evil.

What kills me the most is the things you don’t hear;
gossiping girls, teasing and prying your rep.

What kills me the most is the things you don’t see;
that fake friend who smiles at you.

What I do for other when they don’t have a voice?
I speak out against evil; I will forbid you to cause pain.

It may sound too good to be true but let me be your voice;
If you let me share your pain at least you won’t feel alone anymore.

What you don’t know can be a burden and a joy;
If ignorance is bliss why are others mad?

You live your life hearing and seeing bullshit all the time;
But there’s always me you can vent to.

I’m not saying you have to tell me everything if you don’t want to.
But I can be the pages of your diary.

Anyone can be like a book, you can’t judge the cover but the inside is what counts the most.
So don’t let small flame burn you slowly. Stomp them out and brush yourself off.

It’s what I learned to do. But not everyone can be like me and be strong.
For others, sometimes you gotta lend that voice.
