God, I should have never said anything

I told you how I felt,yet you don't feel the same.
You say we could be friends, but your shame is to blame,
my ignorance should be forgiven,

had I known what was going to happen; me tell you as you pretend to listen
I would have never said anything and let my heart shake and hurt,
now we could still be friends,but now that is a not.
