The Lone Boy
He screams unheard in the cold winter night
he tries to die, yet the water just lifts him up
He yells "I can't take it"
The glares everyday from those who don't
understand
The sirens blaring in his head
His head throbs he feels sick again
no one cares
His tears stain his face
his heart bleeds out tonight
but his dream ends he's alive
His nightmares come when he's awake
no one loves him so he thinks
But then he meets him
he thinks he's looking in the mirror
as the boy reaches out to him
There lips move in-sync together
His nightmares turn to dreams
he'll keep him safe at night
finally the light comes through
He screams "I'm alive"
he tries to die, yet the water just lifts him up
He yells "I can't take it"
The glares everyday from those who don't
understand
The sirens blaring in his head
His head throbs he feels sick again
no one cares
His tears stain his face
his heart bleeds out tonight
but his dream ends he's alive
His nightmares come when he's awake
no one loves him so he thinks
But then he meets him
he thinks he's looking in the mirror
as the boy reaches out to him
There lips move in-sync together
His nightmares turn to dreams
he'll keep him safe at night
finally the light comes through
He screams "I'm alive"
