The Escape
I stand alone in a field
Surrounded by the ones that hate
But still feeling lost, helpless
There is no escape
Each of them push, pull
Me in the direction they want
My heart aches for release
There is no escape
My soul stretched to the limits
The rest of me growing numb
The pain in my body draining away
There is no escape
They cry out to me for help
Sounds of pleads sting my ears
Their voices blend together
There is no escape
Their faces become blurred
As the tears run down my face
I no longer see clearly
There is no escape
Slowly I die
My body trembling
As I fade from existance
This is my escape
Surrounded by the ones that hate
But still feeling lost, helpless
There is no escape
Each of them push, pull
Me in the direction they want
My heart aches for release
There is no escape
My soul stretched to the limits
The rest of me growing numb
The pain in my body draining away
There is no escape
They cry out to me for help
Sounds of pleads sting my ears
Their voices blend together
There is no escape
Their faces become blurred
As the tears run down my face
I no longer see clearly
There is no escape
Slowly I die
My body trembling
As I fade from existance
This is my escape
