Sleepless
Why is it i cannot sleep
Is it my mind is troubled
By these endless thoughts
Ravaging my mind into the night
Why must i forever wander
While all others sleep
May i not rest
Is it not meant to be
Must i always watch
As all others dream
Of love and of fear
Of desire and of nightmare
Why can i never sleep
Never even to dream
My own endless world
Alone each and every night
Is this my curse
Forever to wander
As one of the sleepless
Is this my fate

Insomnia is a very common affliction that affects us all at one time or another. For most it only lasts a few days but for some it can last for years. I myself suffer from serious insomnia, only sleeping when my body can no longer keep itself awake. The worst part is its to the point where i dont even know im sleeping, other people usually tell me that i was completely passed out but i dont remember ever falling asleep or even waking up.
