Tears And Rain

From my soul, a scream will protrude
And my body will feel faint
As I mix
My tears with the rain

These little orbs
Of sadness clear
Shall flow down my cheeks
There is no joy here

How strange that the two liquids
Should mix so well!
I watch my tears descend
On the pavement they fell

I like to cry in the rain
Because no one can see my tears
I like to hide my face
So no one can see my fears

For they're etched in my eyes
Both tears and fears
And I'm frightened to the death
That all will become clear

Oh, but we all walk in the rain
At one time or another
What causes the pain for
Some people, I do wonder

But I'll always know why
I shall blend
These two waters
As I reach my dead end

I am met with this wall
And my body feels faint
As I take my fall
Smiles I can no longer feign

And hide I cannot my pain
As I continue to mix
My tears with the rain
