Colors

-Black as the forbidding mountain in the distance,
-White as a dove, soaring towards land in hope of rest from its long term ate sea,
-Blue as the sky looking down upon us, with white cotton ball clouds,
-Yellow as the ball of golden sunlight that gives us sunburns and tans,
-Purple as a grape or a plum or whatever fruits people always like to eat when they are hungry for something juicy,
-Brown as a puddle of mud, sitting in the rain, while people splash through it and soak themselves,
-Red as the hair of a little girl running through a field, picking Forget-Me-Nots and throwing them up into the air,
-Green as the fields where she runs, luch grass spreading and growing upto tickle her knees
-Orange as the Indian Paintbrushes that grow amongst the daisies,
-Pink as the dress of the little girl who picks Black-Eyed Susans in the fields, laughing and smiling, out of breath as she runs,

-Indigo as the bird that flies by, carrying a struggling worm in its mouth to feed its chicks,
-Gray as the kitten which plays at the girl's side, chasing monarch butterflies and frisking in the grass
-Gold aa the chain around the red-haired girl's neck, the locket that is the only reminder of her parents,
-Silver as the tears that begin to run donw her cheeks in happy memories.
