Lost

Why do I bother living?

In a world of wars.

Where it's death we are giving.

Weakening one another in our cores.

The soldier shoots at the enemy,

While a student shoots at his classmates.

Peace dies around me,

There's nothing but hate.

I love you,

Is no longer spoken,

Only I miss you.

Hearts are broken.

While the war overseas goes on and soldiers drive along a dry road in search of the foe,

A man drives down the street searching for his latest pray.

The gun creates a bloody show,

As a child is layed down at the end of his or her days.

It goes on and on.

Never will it end.

Never will we see dawn.

So why live in this world of hate and sorrow?

When you can pull a trigger, hang a rope, take some pills, or grab a blade,

And never see a sad tomorrow.

And let your tears and sorrow fade.
