Like Butterflies Against a Wall

With a trembling cry its sets on fire
A small spark rising higher
Oh this spark does make me a liar
A feeling of which I never tire

Some things will draw my dread
Just like the words you said
I could run around your head
Stepping where you fear to tread

If it weren't for these chains
I wouldn't make effort for my pains
I'd erase these loving stains
Like those beautiful and empty gains

I'd sort out this trouble
From underneath my own rubble
Shave of this lingering stubble
That was left when you burst my bubble

Some things you don't speak
Because some thing you seek
From the secrets you leak
But now I'm the freak

I could speak my mind
Of how this has made me blind
But its been so kind
This thing that's got us entwined

So here's the written word
Not the one you heard
The one that flies like a bird
The one you listened to third
