My Last Goodbye

This is my last goodbye
I'm walking away from it all
I'm through with these games
there's nothing you can do
to change my mind

I'll walk away and won't look back
or stop and give a second thought
you tore me apart and now

I'm going on to better things
leaving all of this behind me
nothing but worldly desires,
seeing nothing but hatred
is remaining in this life...

So I'll go on and lose myself
in order to find Him
where my missing pieces remain

He gives me the hope I have
and the grace I've been given
the one thing that won't fail
when this world fades away
I'll be next to Him

As the waves crash
and the thunder sounds
they will say it's too late
there's nothing you can change
you refuse to let grace in
and now you're disappearing
I can't say I'm disappointed
and I can't say I regret it

There's a better world coming
a perfect world is growing near
it will replace all of the shattered,
broken pieces that you've left behind
He will raise it up and give it light
filling it with pureness and hope
