My Legacy (She Ran Full Speed)
I want to be known as the person who
"She could write well but was humble"
"She was always seen with a camera
around her neck and a pen in her hand,
catching everything in sight
and writing about it all down"
"She had an interesting taste in music
and listened to everything from disney soundtracks
to musicals, pop music, to rock,
from classical to metal. She was who she was"
"She was unique and could be random"
I want to be the person who cared about
the world and did everything I could to better it
regardless if it meant leaving my comfort zone
I want to be the person who stood up
when everyone else stayed sat down
to not just talk the talk but walk the walk
who did what I said I would do
I want people to say that I kept my promises
and to be the person who friends and strangers would open up to
to be known as the person who was loyal and trustworthy
I want to be said that I was after God's heart
and that regardless of what anyone else said
I did what I knew was right and what God would want
I want God to tell me that I did a good job on earth
to be heard that even when I screwed up in life
that I never let it get to me and that I kept running full speed
I want to be known as the person who God knew
loved Him with all her heart and did her best
to have done God's will and not her own
to have put Him first, then people, and finally herself
"She could brighten up anyone's day and was always there"
I want someone to say that "She loved God with everything she had
and it was easy to see" that's who I strive to be
"She would always help anyone without any complaints"
"She showed me there's hope and another way for living"
"She cared about other people more than anything"
"Her heart was powerful and she had a passion in her"
most of all the legacy I want to leave behind is,
"She served God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength,
she never gave up when it was hard
she was kind and loving to everyone she met
she made a difference in this world
she will be deeply missed and remembered
there will never be another person like her
she's dancing with the angels in Heaven"
