A SONGS SWEET SORROW

The piercing emptiness of a lover’s loss
My heart is still beating, hardly through this cold pain
Ice is gripping, filling in the cracks
Still I save myself, from ever going back

I push away, from everything that I know
Thinking of a new start for my new life
But the ice grows thicker, breaking all of my hopes
The sun shines no more, in my deceased dreams

The music plays its; sweet melody
Calming of a soul, but breaking of a heart
For what this music displays, is hard to be torn apart
With its melody it sways the soul of a broken start

The blank pages, too hard to decipher
For the deep feelings I have for them, can never be written down
A stabbed heart could not compare, to my luminary love
Only the death by their hand, and an instant regret

The melody sings, with them by my side
For when they are gone, inside it will die
My sweet, sweet melody, tear me apart
For my beauty of another beauty, may break my heart

When they do so, my life will end
But as the ashes rain, I will rise again
For my love for them, can never end
Only begin, as the melody sways, sending me to rest

When my love for them, is only but a note
The melody will die, along with my heart
Kill me with passion, not with meaning
For all this poem conveys, must be too far but misleading

My heart shall never fallow, another composer
For your melody is all it knows, your melody is all it plays
But when the pages go into flames, my song will sing
My symphony will play, on that rising day

Don’t give up, never give up
For these feelings are gripping, melting away the pain
My love for you, will call again
And when our song is played, the earth will hold still

To its grace, the song will play
To its notes, the world will dance
For our song is nothing but beauty, that the world must fallow
And if not obeyed, tomorrow of another tomorrow
Life and love itself will feel our sweet,
Sweet melodies sorrow
