Darkness
Dark shadows crowding in
Upon a unholy grave
Darkness falls everywhere I turn
Now its black blanket enfolds me
Silence is all around
Quietly waiting for the midnight hour
To release its demon
Upon the world and me
The clock clangs the twelfth hour
Every sickening vermin imaginable comes crawling, slithering forward
The time has come
For the dance of fire
So the demon danced in the moonlight upon that dark, unholy grave
While calling my name and asking for my soul
His eyes were as black as coal
And at once fear struck my heart
I can hear his evil laughter and see his reaching claws
But I can’t move
Finally I scream
And as I awake from the dream
I see that I am no longer there in the darkness
But safely tucked in my grave
Upon a unholy grave
Darkness falls everywhere I turn
Now its black blanket enfolds me
Silence is all around
Quietly waiting for the midnight hour
To release its demon
Upon the world and me
The clock clangs the twelfth hour
Every sickening vermin imaginable comes crawling, slithering forward
The time has come
For the dance of fire
So the demon danced in the moonlight upon that dark, unholy grave
While calling my name and asking for my soul
His eyes were as black as coal
And at once fear struck my heart
I can hear his evil laughter and see his reaching claws
But I can’t move
Finally I scream
And as I awake from the dream
I see that I am no longer there in the darkness
But safely tucked in my grave
