You say it’s not the same alliance
People look but don’t see
You just want them to know who I want to be
But they don’t and that’s your every annoyance

People claim they know you and I everyday
But what do they really see?
Me…. The innocent and sane person that spirits are free
You… The guilty guy that wants to run and be free
Wrong, we’re both the one that wants to go away

I know that you couldn't bare the pain
So they torment you till you can’t stand it
While I grin and bear it, for you, till you decide you’re unfit
But I’ll always be there to unlock the chains

That binds us together so we can stay this way forever
To escape the jail cell that we’re both stuck in
But our patience is running thin
And we both want out together

But what is this?
This will last forever into adulthood
But that’s just lies we make it seem like Hollywood
