I Rant in Rhymes.

I refuse to care.
I'm telling myself
not to allow the slightest
inkling of guilt.
Even if it hits me hard,
you won't see it, no.
I won't let it show.
I don't give what your little
friends think of me
because I know they're bond to be
annoyed by you.
I mean, it's hard not to.

I'm done
with the pushing,
the shoving
biting my tongue and
withholding my opinion.
Is that a democracy?
Well, I'm the damn dictator
so get out of this table and
get out of my life.
I know this is too much for you,
but don't even apologize.

I know, I know, I know
you don't care
But, you are, you are, you are
no one.
Go on,
throw your voice
around but don't let me
think by myself.
No, you can't control
me.
I'm no longer a little girl,
scared and people pleasing.

Let them think what
they want, but,
I'll stand up for what
I believe in.
Keep on trash talking
me.
You can be the garbage man,
but no one cares who
you think you are.
Oh, you're not a super star.
I'm giving this life it shouldn't
be given.
Without you, it won't be hard to keep living.

Ha. Okay, so there are going to be a lot of b*tchy poems about this because I have to rant some way.
