A Monster's World

A monster’s world is dark and damp,
For they live like a tramp.
In the land that’s far from free,
Between the mountains and the sea.

A monster’s world is all but fair,
If they venture out from their lair.
If they come out to play,
They’ll be hunted through the day.

A monster’s world is in the care,
Of a god that isn’t fair.
So hear it’s cry if you know,
Hear and weep like a crow.

A monster’s world is full of hate,
If only they go through a gate.
In a life fought with rage,
When trapped in a cage.

A monsters world is dark and damp,
For they live like a tramp.
In the land that’s fair and free,
Between the mountains and the sea.
