Waiting for His Letter

I've been waiting by the door
For 9 hours straight,
I haven't eaten any meals,
Nope, not a plate!
Well, you seem confused,
So let me explain,
My best guy friend moved away
It's been alot of pain.
He said that he would miss me most
and write every chance he could,
Which is how every distanced friendship
Should be the way it should.
I'm getting really anxious
For the Mailguy to come this way,
But now I feel so stupid!
