Dear Reflection

A beautiful face,
Glows on my TV.
While a plain face,
Stares back at me.
My body curves,
I'm so sorry.
My hair is not straightened,
My skin is not golden.
Oh please forgive me.
My flaws are loud,
While my beauty is quiet.
Please accept me,
I don't want to diet.
Oh my dear reflection,
What does it take to please you?
You insult me each time I see you.
Please say something nice,
You hurt my feelings.
Have some time to think,
As I begin healing.
Next time I see you,
Expect no perfection.
It's time that we change,
My dear reflection.
