Forgiveness Has to be Earned.

You must
have cancer of the mouth.
Because everything that comes
out of it,
it black and vile.
You don't care what
damage your words do.
You just like
the look
that crosses my face.
The one that says
you acheived your goal.
Your words did something.
You just
don't know
the severity,
how much they
really do hurt.
You want
me to be
exactly what you want.
Nothing more,
and
nothing less.
You're trying
to change me,
for your own personal gain.
They told me,
that you were no good,
and not to trust you.
You seemed so sweet.
I didn't believe them,
and now I wish I had.
You ruined me
and I don't think
I'll ever be able to forgive you.
You'd have to earn that,
and the only thing you've earned
is a slap in the face.
