Dragonfly

I wish I were
A dragonfly,
I'd fly so high
So high in the sky

And if you saw me
Up so far,
You'd think I was
A shooting star

You'd think that I've
Shot down to Earth
To be so free
With the whole world to see

But I'm really here
To see the flowers
And smell then for hours
Even through April showers

A dragonfly
All worries would die,
No need to cry,
Life would be like
And apple pie
If I were a dragonfly.

Wind beneath my wings.

And if you saw me
Fly so well,
You'd come and catch me

The beauty of the world
