A Place For Me

I don't know what I want; or how I feel.
Trying to live my life in this place,
Even when sometimes nothing seems real.
I barely recognize my own face.

I can remember when everything was fine,
I knew if I was angry, happy or upset.
But doubt about life has grown like a vine.
My actions were never, but now sometimes are things to regret.

Now I'm not sure if I like who I am,
And I know I'm not alone.
But sometimes life feels like some big scam.
A big scam that is not known.

But this is life; you can only experience it once, so I'll live it my way.
Smile when I don't feel like it, ask for help when needed, lean on my friends and people I love.
And maybe someday, when I know my true friends, get a handle on school, and know my own face; that day,
It'll be a wonderful world that I am a part of.
