HE was Mine

April first...
He laid his eye's on me and my heart melted
His gaze took my breath away.

We sat with a crowd but our eye's only focus on each other's.
He smiles, I smile...
This can't be real....
When will he say April fools.

He waits till we are alone than in a nervous state he mumbles
'Would you like to go out with me.'
He asked so fast I had to smile.
I barley caught one word he mumbled to me

He slows his words to ask me again.
My heart flutters.
This is no Joke.
I say yes...

The first date was perfect.
He walked me to my porch and asked me out again.
I smile and nod Yes.
Tomorrow it is he says as he backs away.
Till than I smile once more before I close my door.

The second date still makes me smile.
It was Amazing.
He is to polite he still doesn't even try to kiss me.
It's a good-bye. I can't wait till tomorrow night.

We watch a movie on his couch.
He pulls my face close to his.
'I have never felt this way' he whispers.
Or lips met.
Sparks fly.
He is mine & I am his.
What a perfect fit we were.
We knew it right away.
This was Different.

His Eye's melt my soul.
His smile could make me do anything.
His touch sent sparks throughout my body.
His voice was all the Meds I needed

Months go by.
Our happiness is shot down by my own family.
My Own Flesh and Blood
Conflict runs high.
They miss treat him
My family is not happy with me.
Mom raises hell...
He tells me he can't handle it..
He sets me free for my own good.
We part both broken and missing our hearts

As he walks away I mumble
'April Fools'
I still smile.
For a while at least HE was Mine.
