Dying Day

Is it really a secret
if nobody cares?
If having this knowledge in no way impairs
your thinking and feeling - the way that you breathe
knowing the thing that you know about me?
My last night I'll fall asleep
with your name on my lips,
my dreams invaded by that last, final kiss.
I will keep it a secret until then-
when the walls of the grave are my only friends.
And then with my last breath,
your name I will say.
And you'll be the last one who hears me on my dying day.
