Surrender

Empty soul,
Empty mind,
Broken heart beyond these eyes of mind,
In the shadows of truthful lies, In the light of my demise.
Tell me stories I cannot,
Sweet darkness, take me away from here
Fear death not, Surrender life
To a world of nothing,
But hateful spite,
Whispered voices in my mind,
Holds my fears so divine,
Kill my slowly with your touch,
Reveal the truth but not too much.
Left with poison,
No escape
Stare in wonder at the dying faith,
Forever lost,
Never found,
Shattered dreams,
On the ground;
Bound for a life of dullness and gray,
A simple game of child’s play,
Happiness is rotted decay,
Discontentment remains where it lays.
Broken, lifeless,
Spite less, careless,
True fears are never forgotten,
And true plans are meant to be plotted.
