Story Behind a Story

This is the picture i chose, we had to choose a picture that spoke to us.

His eyes tell a story of unspoken words. Of the things he has seen, and places he has been, but what stands out most of all, are the hardships you can see that he has endured. Sleepless nights looking for a safe place to rest his head. The hopelessness and desperation of never knowing what’s going to come next. He is a warm man turned to ice from these trying times. The frown he wears upon his face is always here, he hasn’t smiled in months. He needs to find that spark of hope, that firework just waiting to ignite to get him back on his feet again. He needs that, that one little spark. Will anyone ever be able to show him that? Will he ever see the fireworks again, the colors of hope bursting in front of his eyes?
