Rain hammering on the windows
Tears rolling down my cheeks
Through my angry music
Faint shouts are all I hear

Pound my fists into the wall
Throw the glass against the floor
Regretting what I didn’t say
I can’t take this life no more

Hot tears sting my red eyes
Red liquid tints my skin
But no one needs to know
We all hide it all within

It’s all lies and deception
Keep the truth out of the way
Sweep the secrets under the rug
Don’t listen to what I say

Then the rain slows down
And the screaming seems the cease
But again it’s only fake
God, life is such a tease

My nerves are still tangled
As I block out the sounds of Hell
Take the bottle and my pills
And crawl back into my shell
