Rotten Sins

Pride, the arrogant aspect of proud hubris.
Lust, the lascivious craving of aphrodisiac desire.
Greed, the selfish longing of covetous avarice.
Wrath, the fiery and vehement rage.
Sloth, the indolent condition of apathy.
Gluttony, the uncontrollable appetite for hunger.
Envy, the intolerant state of jealousy.
These are the Seven Deadly Sins,
That are inevitable to us.
It is beyond our power,
To resist such sinful yet curious temptations.
They say sins are rotten,
But they occur in our human nature.
If we commit these sins,
Will we be forgiven?
Will god descend from heaven and give us our retribution?
Or...is their actually a divine punishment?
