Speak

There it is again
That little voice in my head
Telling me to speak now
But 'now' has passed

Once again I sit in silence
My voice quieted
No one to hear me out
Would I have made a difference?

The moment has come once more
I try to find the courage
To speak
I finally hear my voice

It all rushes out at once
Everyone looks
But they say nothing
Just staring blankly

But I know I did the right thing
I know I had to speak
I can't wait to say something
I have to speak now
