Tinted Rainbow Sky

Faint, little rainbow in the sky,
Bright, blinding sun in my eye,
Passing cornfield, for a forgotten season,
Oh! how I wish I could fly.
Baited breath and naked tree,
From the heartache I want to flee.
Stagnant fir and cold dirty snow,
Set me free.
A bird to the south I wish to fly.
HIgh in that rainbow tinted sky.
But too late; I shall say "Goodnight",
Because tomorrow I shall dance
Again in this heartache circle.
