Standing on comrades graves.

We fight in the mud and fight in the rain,
We fight together; we don’t fight in vain,
We fight for those fallen before god eyes,
We know they all will have pride when they die,

We fought for queen and country, in a line,
We stood in solemn, waiting for a sign,
Well over the top now, here we all go,
The soldier within us will really show,

All going down in gunfire and glory,
Hoping no one will repeat this story,
As we all stand on our comrade’s graves,
An undertaker will slowly engrave,

‘This is for all the men who died,
For all those lads we show them pride,
Although you are not in our sight,
You are still our stars shinning bright,’

On No Mans Land, nothing disturbs the ground,
For all of our comrades are now earthbound,
That last battalion is in the past,
They now all can forget the war, at last.
