A Note From One Of Society's Outcasts

I am not a soup can,
You don't need to label me,
Do my piercings frighten you ?
Are they all that you can see ?

I am a human being,
Treat me with dignity,
I am not a delinquent,
Are my tattoos all that you can see ?

Behind my ever pierced face,
Behind my tattooed arms,
Lies just another normal girl,
With normal human charms

Does the way I look frighten you ?
Are tattoos and rings all you see ?
Don't judge me by the way I look,
See me for who I am, Me.

I must say I'm a much better poet than an author of stories in my opinion. This is one f my favorites out of all the poems I've written.
