I, Too

I, too, am a child of God
I sense his presence all around me
Surrounding me like a fog
He has helped me to truly see
To accept what I cannot change
And to change what I can

Teaching me right from wrong
He pushes me towards the right path
And although at times I might stray
He always leads me back

When I'm in trouble
He carries me
I always feels safe
Because I know he'll never let me down

I anxiously await the day
When all of God's children
Are swept up to heaven
To live in paradise
With the Lord, our savior
